Self-hosted

ProPR on your infrastructure.

Deploy ProPR in your own environment, connect your source-control platform and use the AI account your organisation already has.

Your deployment

You run the ProPR API and frontend with PostgreSQL, and add the ProCursor service for repository knowledge. Your organisation manages the infrastructure, updates and backups.

The quickstart walks through a first installation. The deployment guide covers routing, persistence and review workers for an installation you keep.

Your AI account

Connect an AI provider your organisation already uses, or a model you host yourself. ProPR supports Azure OpenAI, OpenAI, Anthropic, AWS Bedrock, Google Gemini and Vertex AI, plus compatible gateways and model servers. You configure the credentials and pay your provider for usage.

Model selection is separate from review configuration. You can change which provider a logical model points to while keeping your review settings. See AI providers and purposes and logical models.

Community and Enterprise

The Community edition includes core reviewing across the supported source-control platforms and AI providers. Enterprise adds licensed capabilities for larger deployments, including single sign-on, concurrent reviews, budget controls and multiple isolated teams.

Compare self-hosted editions for the feature breakdown, or read the edition reference for the runtime behaviour of licensed features.

Operations and network access

Back up the encryption key ring with the database so stored credentials remain decryptable after a restore. Keep container release tags aligned when upgrading. The upgrades and backups guide covers both.

For an isolated network, use the air-gapped deployment guide. It explains local dependencies, model catalog updates and usage reporting.
